OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS: BENEFITS BEYOND A SHINY COAT
Omega-3 Fatty Acids have long been used to manage inflammatory skin diseases in animals. Recent studies have shown it also has
the ability to help slow the progression of Osteoarthritis in dogs. EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid, has anti-inflammatory properties which reduce
joint inflammation and slow cartilage breakdown, thus decreasing the pain associated with arthritis, and improving clinical signs of arthritis,
helping dogs walk, run, and play.

Celebration of a Life
Bobaji, one of the world's most traveled motorcycle dogs!
All of the pets cared for at Paws, Whiskers and Wags have made a significant impact in someone's life, but Bobaji touched many lives as he tirelessly
campaigned for community awareness in the humane treatment of animals and responsible pet ownership. His most recent adventure before his life'
end, Bobaji participated in the Georgia Puppy Caravan where over 200 animals were transported from Georgia to shelters and rescues in the Northeast
where the likelihood of adoption is much higher. Throughout his life, he and his human companion, Frederick Edelblut aka Van Frederick, worked to
educate pet owners about spay/neuter and other pro-animal issues.
Bobaji's life is celebrated with stories, pictures and video at www.bobaji.com

Pet Pro Highlight
James Galloway, Intown Healthy Hound Delivers
"Jimmy and Bridget are a wealth of information about pet food and health. A groomer in the mountains told us that our puppy's hair was
discolored because she had too much copper in her diet. Jimmy looked at the ingredients and determined that there was not enough copper in the
food to have any impact, but that the chicken could be responsible. He suggested we switch to a fish-based food to solve the problem." - Ginny
Peters
Jimmy and Bridget started a healthy pet food delivery service over 7 years ago. Since then, they have added a store in Grant Park with pet
products focused on health, safety and low environmental impact. They now deliver those items along with pet food orders throughout Metro
Atlanta. For more info., visit www.IntownHealthyHound.com.
