Your Pet Crematory

For many of us, pets are important members of our families, and the loss of a pet can be traumatic.  Therefore, end-of-life decisions represent the final acts of love and kindness we can show our pets.  This website was designed to assist you, the pet owner, in making those decisions for your loved ones.  You will learn about your options, what to consider, questions to ask and what to look for when choosing cremation for your pet.

Experience, Quick Response, Compassion.

With over 20 years of cremation experience, we are committed to the highest standards of pet cremation services available. Our goal is to give pet owners the peace of mind that one of the last decisions they made for their pet was the right one. Because we cremate each pet alone, we guarantee the ashes you receive are those of your pet through our patented Pet Tracker 360® system.

Peace of Mind

We provide same day service, which means the pet’s ashes can return home the same day death occurs.  An Urn Gallery is part of our state-of-the-art facility, which was built with the pet owners’ needs in mind.

We are committed to making end of life decisions easier for all pet owners and veterinarians by providing honest, thorough information about pet cremation and maintaining an open door policy at all times. We are committed to strong and trusted relationships with our veterinarian partners to ensure they have accurate information, and refer Paws, Whiskers & Wags with confidence: knowing that integrity is maintained throughout the process.

How Paws, Whiskers & Wags was started . . .
"In February of 2004 our little dog Casey died in my arms. It was midnight on a Sunday and I was due to catch a plane the next day. Casey was 14 years old and a big part of our family. While I had been in the cremation and funeral business the past 20 years (I even grew up living in a funeral home), I was unprepared for the loss of Casey. More so, I was unprepared, disappointed and even shocked at our experience over the next 24 hours as we unsuccessfully attempted throughout the night to gain assistance in helping us with our grief and to have Casey cremated. This experience led me to create Paws, Whiskers & Wags."

Christine Hunsaker is the owner and founder of Paws, Whiskers & Wags and the former President of North America's largest human cremation company. She was born and raised in the funeral business, holds an international MBA and most importantly, is a pet lover.
